Last week our little family went to Florida for vacation with my mom, Kurt, Chase, Collin, and Kira. We stayed in a really nice vacation house complete with pool, hot tub, and billiard room. Our trip was packed with visits to some beaches and numerous amusement parks and a wild manitee, dolphin, and alligator sitings. For being just 4 1/2 months old, Emmy did amazing!
The majority of the time at the parks, Emmy hung out with Daddy in her new front facing carrier. She likes it so much better than the Ergo that happened to be 6x more expensive. Isn'

Sadly, just a couple days before leaving Florida to go back home, Emmy got a horrible cold... another first for her. This made for a fussy baby, but she was such a trooper despite obviously not feeling well.
Now we are home safe and sound and trying to settle back into normal life. I'd be lying if I said we weren't desperately missing the sunshine and 80 degree weather. The gloom and rain just doesn't quite get our jollies up like the sun. Can't wait for summer to get here already!
